I’d ride my mare to Bob Seger’s “Her Strut”!
Susan T Burris, Texas

Anne Marie Finn, via Facebook

“The Hobbit Theme”

The theme song from “Jurassic Park” or “Superman.”
Tara Lattamus, Alberta, Canada

“Megamix” by Newsboys
Shawnee Urano, Colorado

Either Phil Collins “In the Air of the Night” because of the beat or “Running Down a Dream” by Tom Petty because of the beat as well.
Terina Mullins Mcbryde, Ohio

“Cathy’s Clown”
Karen Helland Ratzel, Wisconsin

“Sail” by AWOLNATION or the theme song to “Game Of Thrones.” I have the routines sketched out in my head and hope to one-day ride to one or both of them.
Lynae Zebertavage, via Facebook

“Every Girl” by Turnpike Troubadours.
Maureen Selman, via Facebook

Anything drum and bass or by Gesaffelstein, although the judges probably wouldn’t be too happy with it. Anything by Ulrich Schnauss would be good too.
Lisa Odden, Minnesota

Anything Tool or Metallica or Dio
Shannon Cline, Ohio

“Fantasia” from Disney.
Heather Lewis, Alberta, Canada

“Sexy and I Know It.” I don’t know why but I’ve always wanted to do a freestyle with that song.
Jess Salmon, via Facebook

These are my choices for musical freestyle, there are so many from which to choose. I adore “Classical Gas” by Mason Williams for a gelding or stallion. And for a mare: “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” by The Police.
Nancy Haws, Kentucky

Don’t think for a minute that I am a fan, but Michael Bublé would probably be pretty good. My horse is 13.3hh so we can’t go for big movements and we are at low levels. That being said, I have always wanted to ride to a mix of Deep Purple’s “Black Night” and “Smoke on the Water.”
Heather Cooper, via Facebook

I’ve had it picked for a while… It’s a song called “Salute” by Little Mix. Perfect tempo and awesome lyrics:

“Ladies all across the world

Listen up, we’re looking for recruits

If you’re with me, let me see your hands

Stand up and salute

Get your killer heels, sneakers, pumps or lace up your boots

Representing all the women, salute, salute!”

Erin Kavanaugh Kirkley, Georgia

I have always wanted to do a freestyle to a song by my favorite band Asleep at the Wheel. I just love Western swing and think it would be so much fun to ride to.
Anne Harkins Leidinger, via Facebook

The Beatles… Sgt. Pepper’s entire album is great to ride to. A mash up would be a fun freestyle.
Christy Coggins Abernathy, Georgia

“Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen! It’s such a fun piece because it changes so much.
Nicky Blackshaw Harris, Alabama, via Facebook

“Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen. I make up the movements every time I hear it.
Cortni Volkman, Illinois

I knew my exact answer as soon as I saw this. There is a mix I heard a while back and I always instantly think freestyle when I hear it…. “Swing the Mood” by Jive Bunny.
Nicole Jansen, via Facebook

An instrumental piece by the Beastie Boys, of all things. The music has a groovy, almost jazz style to it that exudes coolness.
Diana Guttenberg DeYoung, Montana

“Everytime We Touch” by Cascada; it has good high-energy one two beat that could fit a lot of different movements and it’s a fabulous song that makes you feel good.
Audra Morin, California
