I spoke twice at Equine Affaire today, talking about the behind the scenes aspects of filming the Equitrekking Emmy winning travel TV series on horseback and all of the wonderful local people and equestrian vacations I discover traveling the world. I showed some fun footage of our film crew– things never broadcast on television! I also had the chance to catch up with friends from the stables where I used to ride in Connecticut. I miss it! The farm backed up to the Greenwich Trail System, so had some amazing trail riding opportunities and some nice jumps scattered throughout the trails. We had one very memorable day riding through the snow. The conditions were perfect.
I also got to see a little of Chris Cox colt starting, learned about a saddle maker who specializes in making saddles more female friendly, and ran into a lot of Equitrekking fans, who came up to say hi. That’s always so nice! Here’s a short video of one of the Haflinger horses that I met at the event and posted on Twitter.
Today, Saturday, Nov 13 I’m speaking from from 2pm-3pm in the Better Living Center on the Seminar Stage on Top 10 Places to Ride Before You Die. This awesome top 10 countdown includes video of each destination. You’ll want to take notes for your bucket list. I’ll count it down in Letterman style. This is a presentation you don’t want to miss!
Here’s a printable schedule for presenters for Equine Affaire.
