Irish Castles and Vacations on Tack & Habit Radio

I had the pleasure of talking Irish castles and equestrian vacations with Glenn the Geek on the new Tack & Habit Radio Show, which has just been released! If you’re reading this blog, you know that I was recently in Ireland for a third visit and was able to ride all over the country with old friends and new ones. We were scouting for great Irish equestrian vacations for EquitrekkingTravel.com, which we launched in January and features horse riding vacations in the U.S. and abroad that we’ve personally taken.

Castle Leslie is a new place we’re featuring, so on the Tack & Habit, I gave Glenn the low down on what’s it’s like to stay in this amazing, Victorian themed Irish castle and ride its grounds, an equestrian paradise with over 300 cross country jumps. My favorite part of being at the Castle was meeting Sir John Leslie, “Uncle Jack,” the 94-year-old Baronet who still lives in the castle. He’s eccentric, full of interesting stories and his piano playing skills are a highlight after dinner at night as you sit in the opulent, yet comfortable drawing room.

It was truly an adventure. Listen to the latest on the Tack & Habit Radio Show. Watch videos, get vacation dates and prices and learn about EquitrekkingTravel.com’s Castle Leslie vacation.
