A look at the champions of the 2021 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event.

At the conclusion of show jumping, Great Britain’s Oliver Townend and his mount, Ballaghmor Class, were crowned champions of the 2021 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L. The dynamic duo went double clear in show jumping to maintain their cross-country score of 27.3 and secure the win. Behind Townend were husband and wife Tim and Jonelle Price who finished back to back in second and third place, respectively, on their mounts Xavier Faer and Grovine De Reve.

In the CCI4*-S, Alyssa Phillips and Oskar completed a double clear round and bypassed Tamie Smith and EnVogue to claim top honors with a score of 37.9. Phillips’ win at the 2021 Kentucky Three-Day Event marks her first ever four-star win—and what a place to do it. Smith had an unfortunate rail and 1.2 time faults which added 5.2 to her score for a total of 40.2, landing them in third. Liz Halliday-Sharp and Cooley Moonshine finished with a score of 42.5 and claimed third.
