Jumping a double-clear show-jumping round, Germany’s Mich ael Jung captured his fourth CCI5*-L win at the 2022 Land Rover Kentucky-Three Day Event. This year he did it aboard the 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding fisherChipmunk FRH. Jung finished the weekend on his dressage score of 20.1 Great Britain’s Yasmin Ingham and Banzai Du Loir finished second, jumping clear with .8 time penalties. Doug Payne and Quantum Leap also jumped a double-clear to move up from fifth place to third. Boyd Martin and Tsetserleg TSF had two rails down and 1.2 time faults to finish fourth.

Doug Payne (USA) and Quantum Leap finished in third place with a score of 38.4. As the highest-placed U.S. combination, they won the USET Foundation Pinnacle Cup and the Roger Haller Perpetual Trophy.
