Top Riders Take Center Stage at Sacramento International World Cup™

Some of the world's best riders are flocking to the Murieta Equestrian Center in Sacramento, California, to compete in the prestigious $100,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Sacramento.

Sacramento International World Cup™ Week is officially underway at Murieta Equestrian Center. The two jumper ring schedules are full, and the FEI horses are ready for the qualifying classes and of course, Saturday’s $100,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Sacramento presented by Lasher’s Elk Grove Dodge Ram.

Wild Turkey Farm’s WT Ca-Pow! (Chesapeake x Calato), a 2009 Holsteiner gelding, is one of Mandy Porter’s up-and-coming mounts.

Star-Studded Line-up

Fifty-three horses are slated to compete in this afternoon’s $36,500 1.5m Grand Prix Qualifier. Check out the line-up here. The class kicks off at 5:30PM PT/8:30PM ET.

Last year’s winner Mandy Porter will be hoping to qualify for the NAL class with one of two rising stars WT Ca-Pow and Soren Z. Mandy is especially excited about WT Ca-Pow, Wild Turkey Farm’s 9-year-old Holsteiner gelding who she describes as her “heart horse” and “the kind of horse I’ve been striving to produce all my life.”
