Entries for the 2025 MARS Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill Announced

Check out your favorite horse-and-rider combinations competing in this year's Maryland 5 Star CCI5* competition that runs October 16 - 19.

As we say in the eventing world, Cecil County, Maryland, is “The Place to Be in October,” and this year’s star-studded lineup of Maryland 5 Star CCI5* competitors doesn’t disappoint. In the event’s fifth edition, we’ll see inaugural winner and fourth-ranked eventer in the world Boyd Martin (USA) returning with Commando 3 and Luke 140, as well as four other Olympians from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games including Caroline Pamukcu (USA), Jessica Phoenix (CAN), Felix Vogg (SUI) and Jonelle Price (NZL).

Other noteworthy combinations on this year’s roster include Arden Wildasin (USA) and Sunday Times, Brooke Burchianti (USA) and Cooley Space Grey, Mary Bess Davis (USA) and Imperio Magic and Shannon Lilley (USA) and Eindhoven Garette. All pairs completed their first five-star competition last April at the 2025 Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event. The 2025 Maryland 5 Star will host a total of six countries, with Vogg being the first Swiss rider to ever compete at Fair Hill. The event kicks off on October 16 and runs through October 19.
