Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized as Practical Horseman’s Trainer of the Year?
Nominations are due by May 31st!
We want to honor the unsung heroes of our sport—trainers who work tirelessly to improve the education of both riders and horses. And we need your help! Nominate a trainer for Practical Horseman’s 2022 Trainer of the Year award. The trainer must strive for excellence in the disciplines of hunters, jumpers, eventing and dressage.
To nominate a trainer, submit an essay (at least 100 words) describing why this person deserves to be named Practical Horseman’s Trainer of the Year.
Ten finalists will submit a short video to determine the winner.
If a trainer is selected to be a top-10 finalist, the person who submitted the nomination is responsible for submitting a video (5 minutes or less) describing why the trainer should be selected as Practical Horseman’s Trainer of the Year. Videos can include information on the trainer’s training background, current training situation, training philosophy, the trainer’s definition of a good horse person, an example of the trainer explaining a technique, student testimonials, etc.
The winner will be interviewed for a Practical Horseman podcast, be featured in a special digital of Practical Horseman and on PracticalHorsemanMag.com, and receive a special commemorative gift from Nutramax/Cosequin.
