PHOD: Early Spring Stadium School

Pan American Team Gold and Individual Bronze medalist Buck Davidson helps his upper-level event riders perfect their stadium jumping rounds by emphasizing body position and balance.

In this two-part series, Buck helps his upper-level event riders work on the effectiveness of their body position. The goal is to perfect their balance to the fence to help the horse push off the ground and organize their ride. Buck begins these riders with a simple gymnastic, gradually widening the oxer in the middle. He eventually adds additional oxers to make the exercise more challenging.
