Helpful Tips
If you have new show clothes, take them out of the plastic and put them on well before your show. Practice tying your stock tie. Figure out how to make your hair neat and tidy ? if it’s long and you put it up, make sure your helmet still fits over it. Is everything comfortable on the ground? Fine! Now ride in your outfit once or twice. Is everything still comfortable? I’ll let you in on a secret: At a big competition, I often opt to wear old breeches instead of the new breeches I actually bought for the event. I know the old ones fit me and allow me to sit great and feel good, and the new ones might not.
