Day one of CCI5*-L competition at the 2022 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event saw 21 horse-and-rider pairs enter the dressage ring in Rolex Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. Tamie Smith rode Fleeceworks Royal to the top position on the leaderboard in her five-star debut. Colleen Rutledge and Covert Rights made their way to the second place position while Doug Payne and Vandiver rounded out the top three ahead of day two of CCI5*-L dressage competition.

On Friday, April 29, at 12:30 p.m. EST, the remaining 24 competitors will take to the arena to try to shake up the CCI5*-L leaderboard.
