Athletes challenged the rain and mud on the cross-country course Saturday, but it didn't stop Ollie Townend and his 14-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding, Ballaghmor Class, from making their way to the top of the CCI5*-L leaderboard. Just behind the duo with just a .5 difference are Boyd Martin and his 15-year-old Anglo European Sporthorse mare, On Cue.
In the CCI4*-S, Tamie Smith and her 16-year-old Hanoverian mare, EnVogue, maintained their lead, while Alyssa Phillips and her 12-year-old Holsteiner gelding, Oskar, made a big push from 15th into second place.
