Game Faces On During Dressage Day 1 at Kentucky Three-Day

Athletes put their game faces on for day one of CCI5* dressage at the 2023 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event.

Twenty CCI5* riders had their game faces on as they tested day one of dressage at the 2023 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event. His first time at the event, Great Britain’s Tom McEwen took the top spot on the leaderboard with JL Dublin. Tamie Smith (USA) and Mai Baum hold the second place spot going into day two of dressage, followed by Liz Halliday-Sharp and Deniro Z in third.

Here’s a look at horses and riders who put their game faces on for Thursday’s competition.

CCI5* competition at the 2023 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event resumes Friday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m. EST with day two of dressage.
