Hot Bobo Brings the Heat in Cosequin Lexington CCI4*-S Finale

Canada's Karl Slezak piloted Hot Bobo to the CCI4*-S victory at the 2023 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event.

Hot Bobo, owned and ridden by Karl Slezak (CAN), brought the heat on the final day of the Cosequin® Lexington CCI4*-S at the 2023 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event. “Bobo”, as he is known around the barn, and Slezak powered around the show jumping course double clear. They finished on their dressage score of 29.3 and claimed the win. USA’s Tamie Smith and Sydney Elliott were the only other two riders to go double clear. That earned them second and third place, respectively. Smith and Solaguayre California, owned by Julianne Guariglia, finished on a score of 30.0. Elliott and QC Diamantaire, owned by Carol Stephens, closed out the week on 34.9.

Here’s a look at some of our favorite stadium jumping moments, including Hot Bobo, Solaguayre California and QC Diamantaire, from the final day, April 30, of the 2023 Cosequin® Lexington CCI4*-S. We hope you enjoy viewing them as much as we do.
